About Us
The idea for Career Compass started out as a thought in the mind of our CEO Preeti Mehra. With an educational background spanning across disciplines and a diverse corporate career; Mrs. Mehra was working as an educational consultant when a glaring problem stood out in front of her eyes.

She realised that while there was no dearth of career counsellors in the country, they didn’t have the requisite understanding of the world of education to help steer young minds along the correct path. These counselling’s presented children with an opportunity to undertake a psychometric test, but the findings of such tests were not applied to counselee’s interests and the current scenario in the corporate world.

Looking to overcome this pertinent problem in the field of education, she developed her own career guidance and counselling model, which is the perfect blend of the counselee’s psychology & interests, married with a razor sharp understanding of the world of education and corporates.

This one idea in her head led her down the path to conceptualising and making Career Compass a reality. Now, it’s time for you to discover your own path.

Staying true to our name, we have four easy directions to lead you down the path towards the ideal career
Navigation
Human beings are complex. They have multiple facets to their personalities such as their interests, emotions, aptitude, strengths and weaknesses.

Our carefully crafted test is a blend of these facets, testing your inherent abilities, likes, dislikes, EQ, affinities and aversions.

This test allows us to have an extensive look into what makes you tick, enabling us to navigate you towards your desired destination.
We will focus on four vital aspects of a person to understand you and help you choose well.
What are you good at?
(Aptitude test)
You might be thinking- What exactly is aptitude?

To understand this better, answer the following questions.
Do you know the difference between your and you’re?
Do you know the multiplication table of 21 by heart?
Do you know how to solve challenging puzzles?

As a person, there is always something that you are naturally and inherently good at doing, be it English, Math or Art. Our in-depth test, through – questions, will help us identify what are your strong and weak areas.
Who are you?
(Personality)
Assume you are meeting someone for the very first time. You only have once chance to make your impression by introducing yourself to them. How are you going to do it?

Take a minute, think it through, does anything come to mind?

It isn’t easy. Is it?

Let us simplify it for you.

From the below options, choose whichever traits apply to you.

Our comprehensive personality quiz will allow us to identify your personality traits and suggest a career that will go well with your strengths and allow you to capitalize on them.
What do you like?
(Interests)
It is possible that you might be naturally inclined towards Math and are good at it, but simply do not want to pursue it as a career. This is where the interest part of your personality enters the picture.

It allows us to analyse what is it that you envision yourself doing.
Do you see yourself as a doctor?
Do you see yourself as a microbiologist?
Do you see yourself as a digital marketer?
Or, do you not picture any particular career when you think about your future?

Whatever the answer may be, it helps us understand your internal thought process and helps us develop an insight into which career areas you have an innate interest towards.
How do you react?
(Emotional Intelligence)
Stress. Long Hours. Deadlines.
Whether you’re in school, college or are a working professional, all of these things are going to impact you in some way or the other, at some point in time. What’s important is how you choose to deal with the hurdles that stand in your way.

Our exhaustive emotional intelligence test will help us understand how you handle your emotions, perceive others emotions and subsequently, how you deal with them.

To know more about becoming more emotionally intelligent, you can head here.
